molecular ecology & genomics
I am a biologist with 10 years of experience in molecular biology and genomics research. Currently, I am working as a postdoc at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ supported by the National Science Foundation Postdoc Fellowship in Biology (PRFB). In 2022, I completed my PhD at Cornell University in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior where I studied the molecular and chemical basis of social olfaction in Polistes paper wasps..
I am committed to combining research, mentorship, and science communication to foster a collaborative and inclusive scientific environment. For science communication, I prioritize visual storytelling, and my online SciComm project “@InsectsEvolving” reaches tens of thousands of viewers each month, with over 100,000 followers across platforms!
